I founded Planetary Printing Press as a design studio and print shop to reimagine the art of mapmaking. Launched in May 2017 with the support of the Kickstarter community, it embodies the idea that our love for maps is more than a navigation tool—they exemplify our curiosity to search for the unknown. My commitment to craftsmanship ensures every map print is meticulously designed, rejecting automated scripts in favor of a unique aesthetic that showcases my dedication to the art of cartography. The brand aims to evoke a sense of wonder in the everyday, where every map is a doorway waiting to be opened.
The brand's growth in the local art community and beyond is fueled by a comprehensive visual identity strategy, encompassing package design, business cards, and various print collateral such as stickers and storefront signs. This holistic approach supports both the brand and its online store, enhancing recognition and engagement with Planetary Printing Press.
