Concept Product Design: Trainer’s Reflection Compact Mirror
The Trainer’s Reflection Compact Mirror transforms the iconic Pokémon Trainer card into a collectible pocket mirror. Instead of traditional card artwork, the illustration window becomes a reflective mirror that allows the viewer to see themselves as the Trainer. The mirror is produced as a metal card with a polished reflective surface and housed in a leather card holder, creating a premium collectible item that blends everyday functionality with the spirit of the Pokémon journey.
The mirror replaces the artwork window of a Trainer card, allowing the viewer to see themselves as the Trainer while preserving the visual structure of Pokémon Trainer cards.
The leather card holder extends the concept of the Trainer Reflection Compact Mirror from a graphic object into a complete product experience. While the mirror adopts the visual language of a Pokémon trading card, the holder transforms it into a portable everyday item. The design considers how the graphic system translates to physical materials, adapting the card format to a metal mirror surface and leather sleeve.
Pokémon has always invited players to step into the role of the Trainer. The Trainer Reflection Compact Mirror explores that idea through a simple physical interaction.
