Seattle: Race vs. Income Map
I enjoy exploring creative data visualization techniques to reveal patterns that enhance our understanding of the world. In this map, I use color to represent income levels—red for high income and green for low income—while dot size indicates the percentage of the white population, with larger dots representing higher percentages. With this approach, certain patterns emerge, such as high-income white populations clustering along waterfront properties. Higher minority, lower-income populations can be seen concentrated in South Seattle.
What patterns do you see?

Mapping with Lego Bricks

In this map series, I show population density using different colors of Lego brick. What patterns do you see? This project was inspired by John Nelson's work.
